After almost a year of planning, around 30 hours of travel & more money spent than i'd like to think about.. I'm here! The journey here felt like a dream. Jet lag is a real thing when your 15 hours ahead.
Some Things i've Learned:
-You have to put yourself last while taking care of kids
-There's nothing more healing than nature & we need to do everything we can to take care of it!
-Australian's shorten everything (Mossie's, Brekky, A K away)
-They go by kilometers & celcius
-Fresh air works wonders
-They use their blinkers on roundabouts
-There isn't WiFi in a lot of restaurants
-Christmas BBQ's are a thing since it's summertime during Christmas
-I actually live in the Dandenong Ranges (not outside haha)
-They use the word "heaps" constantly
-"How are you going" & "What are you after" are common sayings
-I really like it here(:
Cheers!
