About Me

I pride myself in being a person who sets goals and works hard to achieve them, be that in dance, public relations or other personal aspirations. I minored in dance and invested my time pushing myself as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. I was part of a hip hop dance group called Entropy Dance Crew for three years which helped me fully appreciate the hip hop culture. I also participated in other dance opportunities around campus like the the Spring and Fall Appalachian Dance Ensemble, choreographing for an a capella group and teaching various open classes.

I applied my knowledge in my major, public relations  by volunteering and interning with a local homeless shelter in Boone, North Carolina. Through the Hospitality House, I handled donor relations for the annual Turkey Trot. I was also in charge of donations and flyer distribution for the Two Rivers Community Charter School's fundraiser event. I enjoyed learning about the logistics of coordinating special events and plan to incorporate it into my profession one day.

I want to integrate my growing passion for dance and public relations into my career. Aside from my professional life, I enjoy running, singing, reading and creating personal relationships. Having a strong community is very important to me and I hope to find a professional environment that will allow me to invest in a community. I have many different interests and am excited to use them to benefit an organization in the near future.
